Here's the rundown on what data we take, why we take it, and who else winds up with it once you visit our store, buy from us, or drop us a line.
What do you gather?
Loading our store quietly logs a few technical bits about your device — your IP address, your browser, and the pages you open. That lot we tag "Device Information".
Buying something, or getting partway there, adds a few more — your name, your billing and delivery address, your payment details, your email, and your phone number. That lot we tag "Order Information".
Why do you need it?
Order Information is what gets your order out the door: taking payment, sending the parcel, drawing up your invoice and confirmation, replying when you write, flagging anything dodgy, and now and then sending word of our products and offers.
Who else gets it?
A short list of trusted providers. Shopify keeps the store running behind the scenes, and Google Analytics tells us how people move around the site. That's the lot.
And cookies?
We run cookies and similar tracking tools to follow what's happening on the site and hold a few things between visits. Rather not? Your browser can block them all, or flag each one before it loads.
What can I ask for?
In Europe or California, plenty — you can ask to see what we hold on you, and have us fix it, refresh it, or wipe it. The contact details below are how.
How long do you hold it?
Your order details stay on file as a record of the sale until you tell us to delete them.
Will this change?
It might. We tweak this page now and then as the way we work shifts, or as the rules call for it.
How do I reach you?
Anything on privacy — a question or a complaint — goes to the address on our contact page.
